Member of the Legislative Assembly, ACT
Caroline is a proud Canberran, campaigner for corporate responsibility and the environment, and gardener.
I'm proud to be representing the Greens because I'm committed to putting the community first.
I stood for Murrumbidgee because I wanted to build on the work I did in the Assembly from 2008-12. I am proud of my achievements as a Greens MLA – including helping deliver Canberra's pollution reduction target, improving consultation on local planning, and strengthening animal welfare.
Throughout my life, I’ve worked to make our community fairer and more sustainable. I was a founding director of Australian Ethical Investment, an ASX listed company that only invests in ethical and responsible companies. I am now the Executive Director of the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility, a not-for-profit organisation that fights to improve the sustainability of Australian businesses.
I’ve lived in Canberra for most of my life, spending nearly 20 years in Woden where I now live with my husband. I love Canberra’s unique combination of small town and capital city in a bush setting.
I’m excited about building on my experience to make Canberra a fairer and more sustainable place.
